Your article here about Tony Blair is priceless. It is beyond parody that Blair should return to the Middle East and the Arab world as a “Peace Envoy”

made me stop and recall Orwells famous book 1984. You can revist Oceania at U-tube “Orwell 1984″ and then google ‘newspeak dictionary’ should you should wish to so.

Orwells famous work might seem to consist of cliche after cliche nowadays but if you go back to the original I am sure you will agree that his dystopian fantasy has renewed resonance.

Particularly his view that war without end exists to serve the interests of a ruling elite by domination through fear . As for Blair the “Peace Envoy” – pure Doublethink.

I can’t understand him.

You reminded me of how happy I was when George Bush finally made it, against the endless attempts by the democrats to contest the Florida vote.

I can’t remember but …I might have even prayed for him!

I thought that the son of George Bush Sr. who will bring the same team of Dick Cheney and Colin Powell must be good news for the Middle East… and especially for Syria! :)
