The Blood Between Us at the Lighthouse Bookshop
The good people at the Lighthouse Bookshop in Edinburgh invited me to talk about my new book (and therefore, recent events in Syria) as part of their Book Fringe Festival. There was a great little audience, including the Palestinian writer Raja Shehadeh and the Scottish writer on the Middle East Alex Rowell. You can watch the talk below. Apologies in advance: for the first few minutes the microphone is nowhere near my mouth. Even after I’ve been told to speak into it, I sometimes forget.
